He was born in Passaic New Jersey. The son of Pat and Bob Smith, Dad a florist, Mom a homemaker, he has 2 brothers and 1 sister. Gary started his career in Radio as an intern for Marconi. He went to AAB in Philadelphia Pa ( a radio Trade school) . From there he has worked at many different stations, such as WDDY in Glouster VA., 93 WCNR in Bloomsburg PA , WIXL 103.7 ( now WNNJ) in Newton NJ, WRNJ AM 1000 in Hackettstown NJ, and 17 years with 93.5 WSBG in Stroudsburg. He has one daughter who attends Penn State main campus. And is married to his love Laurie. He is short and getting fatter by the day. Loves poker, golf and quilting.
